This Privacy Notice explains how Skyta handles information when you use the app. Skyta is designed for everyday photo journaling and weight management, allowing you to save records by date, including images, titles, notes, and weight information, as well as manage entries through list and calendar views. We are committed to collecting and using only the information needed to provide and improve the app’s core features.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These protections may include access controls, secure storage practices, encryption where appropriate, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we work to keep your data protected throughout its lifecycle.
Skyta retains data only as long as necessary to provide the app’s features and meet legal or operational needs. Uploaded content is deleted after it has been processed. Any generated results are stored in your history so you can view them later, and you may delete them at any time. Crash logs are retained for up to 12 months. Support messages are retained for up to 6 months. Temporary processing data is deleted after the processing task is completed.
If Skyta uses AI-assisted features, processing is performed on internal servers only. We do not send your content to third-party AI providers. Data used for processing is deleted after the task is finished, and it is not used to train AI models or improve external model systems. We do not retain processed content beyond what is needed for your history or for the specific feature you used.
We may revise this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this notice and may provide additional notice in the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use of Skyta after an updated notice becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
Skyta does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or biometric analysis. We do not create or store face templates, and we do not use face data for authentication or profiling. Any content processed by the app is handled only for the feature you selected and is deleted after processing is complete.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your user content with third parties for their own purposes. If service providers are used to help operate the app, they are bound by contractual obligations to protect data and use it only as instructed by us. Any sharing is limited to what is necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.
Skyta is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that a user under 17 has provided information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it and limit further collection.
Your information may be processed and stored in different regions depending on where our infrastructure and service providers are located. This means your data may be transferred across borders and subject to the laws of jurisdictions other than your own. We take steps to protect information during such transfers and to use appropriate safeguards where required.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access your data, correct inaccurate information, delete records, export your content, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We use information only to operate and improve Skyta’s features, such as creating and displaying your records, maintaining your history, showing calendar and trend views, and supporting app functionality. We do not use your information for AI training, targeted advertising, profiling, or selling. We also do not use your content for unrelated purposes.
